Anika’s House

My dear friend Anika commissioned me to draw her childhood home as a birthday present for her brother, Danny. I spent quite a bit of time here when I was younger, playing with Anika and Danny, and having piano lessons with her mum Janelle. I was a terrible student and for that I’ll always be both sorry and regretful. All I really wanted to do was play in the backyard and to eat coco pops, which my mum would have never ever even considered buying for us.

My favourite part of the house is the blue detail on the little front patio bit.

Anika and I lived together in Crowther Street, in our first share house.
